Lets turn it up to eleven. Wow, that was bad. I talk about movies, games, and tech. Thanks to Jonathan Coulton for Re: Your Brains (the intro). Check him out at his website. See ya at 12.
Ok... Episode 10 was finished in July but due to the evil that is encased within the Windows operating system all progress was lost. This pissed me off and I vowed to quit podcasting forever.
Lucky for you I changed my mind.
Episode 10 is in production as of now and will be finished in all of it's 'VIDEOTASTIC!!' glory. Yes, I am making the jump to video podcasting.
Expect it around the weekend and fast and pray that the demon in my PC will remain at bay.
So I finally released the long awaited episode nine. I am trying out a new format and I need feedback to help me decide whether or not to go back to the old format or keep this new one. The following paragraphs have a synopsis of the show and links to all the sites I mentions as well as some better reviews.
Movie News
So Transformers is finally out and I am officially stoked to see it. Watch the trailer here:
Starring: Kevin Costner, Demi Moore, and Dane Cook
Plot: Mr. Brooks (Costner) is your normal working father in every way but one. In his spare time he enjoys killing people. While committing his 'last murder' he is seen by Mr. Smith (Cook) who instead of turning Brooks into the police decides he wants to join in the killing business. Mr Brooks is a roller coaster ride of twists and turns as Brooks and Smith try to plan their next murder while avoiding Detective Tracy Atwood (Moore) who is hot on their trail.
Starring: John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jasmine Jessica Anthony
Plot: Based on a Steven King short story, 1408 follows Mike Enslin (Cusak), a writer obsessed with the paranormal since the death of his daughter (Jasmine Jessica Anthony), into the fabled hotel room 1480 in the Dolphin Hotel, run by Gerald Olin (Jackson). Doubt quickly turns into sheer terror as Enslin discovers that 1408 is really a "fucking evil room".
Starring: Sean Bean, Sophia Bush, and Zachary Knighton
Review: Cliche story of a young couple (Bush & Knighton) finding themselfs relentlessly stalked by a deranged murderer (Bean). Overall a dull, cliched plot but hidden inside is a mediocre slasher movie worth Redboxing and watching once.
Starring: Heath Ledger, John Robinson, Emile Hirsch, and Johnny Knoxville
Synopsis: Set in the early years of skate boarding, Lords of Dogtown shows the rise and fall of the legendary Z-Boys and how they changed the face of skateboarding forever.
Why: If you are really interested in the 1970's skate scene this documentary does a much better, and more entertaining, job of presenting the same information. And it doesn't have the bad acting, dull montages, and blatant celebrity cameos.

If anyone wants to leave a voice mail just go my blog or my feed and you can record them there if you have a microphone. Comments are PLEADED for as usual.
Allot of new stuff is going on with the Crazy Zombie Podcast. First off we just released the unedited PreEpisode 8 and the real Episode 8 is coming out tomorrow night.
New Hosts
You already know me, Alex, and you have met Pat, but here is the newest addition to the Crazy Zombie crew, Wes. The three of us will most likely become the regular hosts of the Crazy Zombie Podcast.

New Studio The Crazy Zombie Podcast has also moved to a new studio. The old studio was just my desk and a cheap Walmart microphone. The old setup worked but I couldn't get the sound quality or professional feel I wanted. That's why we decided to pick up and move into our new studio. Instead of recording in Audacity with a cheap microphone and bad background noise we are now working in Protools with professional broadcast microphones and in an almost sound-proof room.
